STUDENT BIO FOR CHA: AN ASIAN LITERARY JOURNAL

Kayla is in her second year of studying Creative Writing at RMIT University. She is 19 and has yet to find her way in the world of publishing. Her literary heroes are Laurie Halse Anderson, Alexandra Adornetto, and L.A. Weatherly. She enjoys Fantasy and Romance, preferably from the Young Adult section, and has a keen interest in books about angels and/or vampires. Kayla has wanted to be an author since she found out what the word meant and has been an avid book-lover since before she knew how to read. She is more interested in Fantasy Fiction than she cares to admit, and spends most of her time procrastibaking, reading, or watching and re-watching her favourite series’. Kayla loves tea and her cat, Topher, more than life itself, and lives by the motto “Always late, but worth the wait”.
